It happens to the best of us. One minute you’re drafting a message to your boss, a client… maybe even your mom, and, poof! Your cat walks across the keyboard and sends your unfinished email.
It’ll be okay!
If you’re a Gmail user, there’s a handy feature that will allow you to recall an email before the recipient gets it. I just installed it for my own email and thought it’d be useful to share with you, too. Here’s how to enable it, right now:
- Login to Gmail.
- Click on the gear icon on the top right and click Settings.
- Checkmark “Enable Undo Send” and choose the number of seconds you want to have to make your decision.
- The next time you accidentally send an email, click “Undo” in the yellow ribbon at the top of the screen.
It really is that simple!
